  • Audio clipping (cutting out) issue is now fixed.
  • Kernel task consumption issue has been fixed. Now it functions the same as default OS X with or without Boom.
  • No sound after sleep issue is now resolved.
  • VLC and other media compatibility issue fixed.

Publisher review:
Boom is a simple volume booster and system-wide equalizer that lets you boost the volume of your Mac and your music files.

Using Boom is simple. You know the ways to change the volume of your Mac. Boom provides the same easy access to boost sound.

From the videos online Hulu, your favorite music playing on iTunes, to voice applications like Skype, iChat and your favorite Games, Boom can boost them all. Add to that the ability to boost audio and video files, you have a booming addition to your Mac.

And Boom is now available with localized Help file support in five additional languages: Simplified Chinese, Italian, Spanish, German and French.

Boom would improve the audio quality from the Mac’s built-in Stereo speakers on the latest MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, MacBook Pro with Retina-Display and the new iMac as well.
So start booming and blow away the silence!
